I hope to bring a little joy with this painting. I realize most people wouldn't consider a street right under el tracks the most picturesque spot, but I oddly do.

 There was just something about that beautiful day with the sunlight seeping through the tracks onto the street below. I guess it makes you realize how you can see light in unexpected spaces when you’re really seeking it out.

 Of course, as I always do, I used my artistic license in this piece. Sometimes I add or change up the people and always include a four-legged friend. In this piece, Milo, a sweet canine yellow lab made a fantastic cameo. Truth be told, Milo would rather run free in the mountains and lakes of Idaho. But I still think he looks the part for this scene, don't you think?
