Sweet Fiona. In many respects, she was more human than canine. 

She was quite well known, and I might add 'popular’, in our Oak Park/River Forest community. She and her dad paved the sidewalks for years where she was welcomed with open arms in many local establishments. She was the 'unofficial' university dog and even got invited to parties at the college up the street. And if that wasn’t enough, she was a certified therapy dog and gave so much love and lots of kisses to many in hospice, schools, and the local library. After a long and arduous battle with lymphoma, Fiona passed away in 2022 leaving her mom and dad, along with so many of us, heartbroken.
